DESCRIPTION

Sometimes you just need a little bit more carrying space, but don’t want a backpack. The answer to this need is the Direct Action® SPITFIRE® MKII Utility Back Panel in official Crye™ Multicam®. Based on the SPITFIRE® Assault Panel it features not 1, but 2 large utility pouches.

Both pockets are closed with heavy duty YKK® zippers that won’t fail at the worst possible moment. Both pockets are large enough to fit a light jacket, NODs, additional ammo, spare batteries etc. Additionally, the panel has a large, flat compartment that can fit a hydration bladder or breaching tools. The panel is attached to the carrier via a zipper system.

CONSTRUCTION

  • Made of Cordura® 500D fabric & proprietary laminate
  • Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating makes used materials water-resistant
  • Camo versions are NIR (Near-Infrared Reflective) compliant & plain colors are IRR (InfraRed Reflective) treated to help prevent detection by night vision devices 

POCKETS

  • Two zippered, external pockets sewn on the surface
  • Large velour-lined cargo pouch for storage of scratch sensitive equipment like NVGs, binoculars, eye protection etc
  • Integrated Velcro®-closed flat compartment fits a hydration bladder or breaching tools
  • Additional Velcro® loops covered MOLLE/PALS system on top pocket

COMPATIBILITY

  • Attachable to the back zippers system on the SPITFIRE® or BEARCAT® plate carriers or the HALIFAX® backpack
  • Zippers are according to the Crye Precision® AVS standard
