ReconBrothers® ships from out of Switzerland, unless specifically stated that the products are dropshipped. For this service ReconBrothers® uses DHL Express Worldwide for international shipments and DHL Domestic for shipments within Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

WHY DHL?

We have extensively tested and weighted out various shipping companies prior to launching this webshop and concluded that DHL offers the best service, support and solutions for both you as a customer and ReconBrothers® as a company.

Firstly, DHL always provides a track & trace link for you to follow up on your delivery such that you are aware of when it will arrive. Another example of these services is their "On Demand Delivery" which allows you as our customer to choose between flexible delivery options like:

  • Leave the package in a safe place
  • Change the delivery date
  • Leave the package with a neighbor, concierge or guard
  • Collect the package from a service point or locker
  • Deliver the package to an alternate address
  • Postpone the delivery for when you're away up to 30 days

This can all be done via a FREE "On Demand Delivery" account that allows you to customize your notifications and delivery preferences. Also DHL their international Express service has proven to be one of the fastest shippings available.

Services like these and the guarantees that DHL delivers have indicated to be much more valuable than simply offering the cheapest possible shipping rates and that is why ReconBrothers® has decided to partner up with DHL.

WHAT ABOUT DUTIES?


Since ReconBrothers® operates from out of Switzerland, package duties may be applicable for export deliveries (i.e. everything shipped outside Switzerland & Liechtenstein). If this is the case, DHL will take contact with you via e-mail or SMS and ask you to pay via a link prior to receiving the delivery.

If duties are not paid, DHL will physically make an attempt to still deliver and ask you to pay. If you eventually refuse to pay, DHL will contact ReconBrothers® to ask if they should return the shipment or not. Here we can either deny or accept the return shipment. If we deny the return, the package will most likely be destroyed or put up for auction. If the return shipment is accepted and ReconBrothers® gets the package back, a refund will be exectuted based on the value of the goods minus the initial shipping cost in full,  minus the return shipping, minus possible damages, minus handling & administration costs.

In adddition, for products that are made on demand, ReconBrothers® will only refund 20% of the product value as these were made for you and are, as stated by the general terms and conditions, not canceable nor returnable.

RETURNS


ReconBrothers® accept returns of products in accordance with the following conditions:

  • The product is not excluded from our return policy (see below).
  • The return request is made within 14 calendar days from the date of reception.
  • The product is unused, undamaged, and in its original condition, including all original packaging, tags, and accessories.

The following products are excluded from our return policy:

  • Perishable goods, such as food, beverages, or other items with a limited shelf life.
  • Personalized, customized products made specifically according to your specifications or products made to order.

SHIPPING DISCOUNTS


Due to the reason that most of ReconBrothers® its deliveries are export shipments, we have implemented a shipping discount that is available for everyone whose cart value goes above CHF 200. This discount is 5% on your cart value and is capped at CHF 35.
